Ron El Faro rijpt ruim vijf jaar in de Dominicaanse Republiek voordat hij naar Katwijk aan Zee komt voor botteling. Batch 001 is uitgebracht op 41% in een oorspronkelijke oplage van 325 genummerde flessen. De rum is zonder toegevoegde suiker of kleurstoffen gebotteld.
